For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mark 10:45
Just as Christ came not to be served, but to serve, ministries are places you can use your God-given gifts and abilities to serve and encourage, while getting to know others in the church. Although sign-ups are done at the beginning of each semester, you are welcome to join at any time. Email the listed ministry leader for details.
To sign up for a ministry please email the ministry head listed below*.
*For the fall semester: Freshmen are asked to wait one semester before joining any ministries.
Audio Resource Ministry (Haley Mui – email@example.com) Ever wonder how the sermons get posted on the website each week? You can help provide resources (CDs, online mp3s, videos) that allow others to receive strength through the preaching of God’s Word. No experience is necessary. We will teach you everything you need to know to record, edit, and post sermons.
CFC Vision Video Ministry (Soomin Hyun – firstname.lastname@example.org): The purpose of this ministry is to use video, music and story-telling to highlight different events in our church and to motivate others to come to various special events through promo videos and shorts. Also, those in the ministry will help with broadcasting services through live streaming and live feeds. And also help with uploading videos to the CFC YouTube page and promote CFC events through different media sites. Please join us this semester as we need lots of help!! (No experience necessary, we will train anyone!)
Chairs Ministry (Andrew Kim – email@example.com): Have you ever wondered how folding chairs become unfolded and then folded again?! Join the Set Up Ministry in bringing the “comforts of home” to our fellow church members each Sunday.
Decor Ministry (Aileen Moon - firstname.lastname@example.org): If you love planning events, doing crafts, or even scrolling through DIY ideas on Pinterest, join us at Decor Ministry! Come join us as we discuss how to strengthen our faith and build His Kingdom as Korean-speaking students!
Mustard Seeds (MS) (Itch Hung – firstname.lastname@example.org): Mustard Seeds is a dance ministry that serves CFC by using dancing and drama to share about the Gospel. It is an appointment-based ministry which basically means we receive recommendations from leaders in the church. Then, from there, our officers prayerfully and wisely discuss who would best grow spiritually through the ministry. In short, our ministry is for those who love dancing and want to serve God. If you have any questions about the ministry or want additional information please email us! We will also be holding informal dance workshops throughout the year, please email us if you want more information regarding these workshops.
Photography Ministry (Dan Lee - email@example.com): Ever see someone taking pictures during Revival, Lock-Ins, or Retreats?
