Children/Youth

“Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” Mark 10:14-15

Our vision to raise up Kingdom workers is not limited to college students and young adults, but also extends to include high school and junior high students, elementary school children and even toddlers. The heart of CFC’s children and youth ministries is found in Deuteronomy 6, when God charges the Israelites to “impress [these commandments] on your children.”

Sunday School The CFC Sunday School program is committed to training our children in the ways of the Lord by planting truths from the Word of God in their hearts starting at a young age. Classes are provided for children ages one to 6th grade. For more information, contact: sundayschool at cfchome dot org.

Youth Group The CFC Youth Group is a community of growing young believers committed to learning what it means to be Kingdom workers even at a young age. We are driven by a commitment to never underestimate the youth, which has made for a challenging, yet loving environment for all of our teachers and members. If you are in junior high or high school and would like to join us, we would love to see you at one of our services! For more information, contact: Joe Tek Yun at joetekyun at gmail dot com.

Summer School CFC Summer School is a 5-week program that combines worship and praise, academic and spiritual lessons, and fun-filled activities to teach and show the love of Christ to children in the Champaign-Urbana community. The program involves over 150 children from the community as well as 50 volunteer staff members from within the church. For more information, contact: cfcsummerschool at cfchome dot org
