Our Vision

The vision of CFC is based on Matthew 9:37-38, when Jesus says to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” We believe that the word “few” is not just talking about the quantity of workers, but also the quality. The heart of CFC’s ministry is thus to produce Kingdom workers, trained to take the Gospel into all the nations, and who will in turn produce more workers.

What We Believe

CFC is a non-denominational church, although all of our pastors, with the exception of one*, are ordained or licensed under the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). We hold to a reformed theological position.

We remain non-denominational to accommodate the wide variety of denominational backgrounds represented in our congregation.

*Pastor John is ordained under the C&MA (Christian & Missionary Alliance).

Statement of Faith
We believe the Scriptures, Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original manuscripts, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, arose bodily from the dead, and ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of God the Father; He is our High Priest and Advocate.

We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, convict men, regenerate the sinner who will believe, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.

We believe man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore totally lost, unable to save himself, and only through the regeneration by the Holy Spirit can he obtain salvation and eternal life.

We believe only those whom God calls in His grace, through no choice of their own, will express faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

We believe the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only those who receive Jesus Christ through faith and repentance become children of God.

We believe water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances to be observed by the church during this present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as means of salvation.

We believe the true Church is composed of all regenerated believers who are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the Head.

We believe in the personal and imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and this hope has a vital bearing on the present personal life and service of the believer.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord; of the non-believer to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.
